Life expectancy is rising. The World Health Organization says that the number of 85 year old seniors will nearly quadruple to 395 million until 2050. Harvard University’s The Joint Center for Housing Studies also estimated that one third of the households in the U.S. will be headed by at a 65- year old by 2035.

Innovative technology plays an important role in assisting seniors in living comfortably at home while giving their loved ones with peace of mind. Adults who are at least 50 years old want to know more about smart home devices and technology and how they could offer safety and convenience, the American Association of Retired Persons said.
